Cuban Raul Castro Starts Visit to Namibia

Cuban President Raul Castro started on Sunday a state visit to Namibia, where he is expected to meet with his peer and host Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba.

The President ot the State and Minister Councils of Cuba arrived to Wondhoek from Egypt, where he attended the 15th Summit of the Non Aligned Movement.

During his stay in Namibia, the Cuban president is also scheduled to visit the Acre Monument to pay tribute to the fighters for the liberation of this nation and against the apartheid regime at the Acre Monument.

Raul Castro visits Namibia at the invitation made by Pohamba during his trip to Havana in February this year.

The Cuban president had started his African tour last Sunday with his second trip to Algeria this year to meet with President Abdelaziz Buteflika.
